ms_london wrote:Thanks Zabl... Wow, a lot of you have been travelling!! Might have to come back with more questions!! Infact Zabl - did you buy hiking/walking boots or would trainers do? I've bought them now & should just stick with them, at least I know they'll be comfy & I dont have any decent trainers anyway!!
I cant wait to see as much of the world as I can, even when I get home I want to do a summer travelling around Europe, but I wont wish the next few years of my life away like I have done the last 3, its time to start enjoying it!!
xx
I didn't take hiking boots, I didn't think i'd need them, i just took a sturdy pair of trainers and they did me, even for a 6hr mountain climb. Yeh stick with the boots and i'm sure they'll do u proud!!
As others have said they most important thing is packing light, cos you really really will hate your bag when carrying it long distances!! I bought 2 of these and they were life & space savers: http://www.eagle-creek.co.uk/pack-it.htm
Am v.v.v.jealous, would love to be going back to Oz!

Ooooh all the talk of holidays makes me want to fly away, bet you're bursting to go Ms_London
Good debt motivation though, everytime I almost spend a pound, I think, 'nope' that could help bring the DF date/holiday forward even sooner.
And so on that note, today will be a no-spender.
Have also convinced the girls to go out for a meal tomorrow (£20-25, and driving) instead of the proposed night on the town (£30-40) so done my MSE bit for today.
Dont suppose anyone knows of any Frankie and Bennys discount vouchers do they?0 -

Yes I am definately bursting to go. Whoo hoo!! Its 7 weeks today until I finish work, so I am very very very excited at that prospect. The only downside is that when I move out of London I wont have any internet access (my parents dont & the village definately doesnt!!). Waaaaaaaaaaaaah!!
Just updated my signature - £5,600 in savings - NICE!! Two more paydays. I've got some 2nd job money floating around but this is to pay for the travelling bits I just bought..
Well done on persuading your friends to have a cheaper night & well done on offering to drive!!
Not aware of any discount vouchers, sorry!!
My friend cancelled on me tonight so looks as though I'll be in!! Never mind!
