  • I would give it a month before you travel as when I applied for mine I had the card but no pin number when I went on holiday. Luckily I never got asked for a pin as the don't do Chip and Pin in the USA.
    Nothing to see here, move along.
  • Nationwide do not belong to the "Verified by Visa" password which is an additional security system that some companies and organisations use when paying over the internet.
    Bridget the Nationwide supervisor I raised this matter with said Nationwide had no plans to join the "Verified by Visa" password scheme.
