There are part time position going at laser quest and game station if she can handle it??.. Any good?
I hope she is a little happier now she no longer has the pressure of college around her now.
Ta hun, I've told her she said she'll go tomorrow and look.
I've got my HR appointment thursday morning and my docs (private Lymes specialist) at midday, trouble is they are 90 plus miles away from each other so I need to sort something asap. Work also want a note from my GP to say I'm fit for work.
So ball is rolling so to speak for me to get back to work.
Need to make tea, done nothing really except sort things out by phone today so I need to get onto it especially the washing.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Good news Pigpen about your sister, I bet that is a weight off everyones mind now
Triker have you managed to sort your mould problem out?
Not quite sure where today has gone, oh yeah I remember I sat in front of the t.v. wrapped up in my fleecy trying to keep warm. This flipping gland/flu buggy thing is really starting to pee me off now, it just doesn't want to go away. When it shows some signs of going the next day it comes back..aaah!!!
Anyway I have prepared the veg for tonights dinner of sausages and mash with a green cauliflower from my veg box
I've also sorted out the four veg boxes that were sitting in my porch, threw the icky veg on the compost and refridgerated the rest, including todays delivery
Went to put something away in one of the cupboards and found the damn mousey has been back:eek: How the heck is he coming in we have those plug in pest thingys all over the house, plus two cats and a feisty terrier that is a ratter
The other dog would probably just sit and stare at it..lol. Somehow my animals are not earning their keep, are they wimps or mice? So I have pulled everything out of the cupboard, thrown away the half eaten crisp packet, cleaned all the tupperware and put stuff back in them, sealing down the tupperware mousey got in with a bit of duct tape!! Thrown the flour away as well - well I only had a wee bit, the decent stuff is in the cupboard above the worktops.
Just sitting here with a cup of tea, then I shall tackle 15 items of ironing.
Oooh Rose I meant to ask you how come you have so much washing up during the day, there is only me in the day and I don't have half as much as you seem to, even when Dave is home we don't have that much. Do you breed it or something..:rotfl:It's been bugging me for a few days.
Oh and Jo, did we agree anything on the hostess i.e. when to deliver, who to deliver to, where to deliver etc. I was thinking that I could get to Newport, I think that was mentioned, as it is only a 2 hour drive from me and pick up Rose on route as well, if she wanted. But it would have to be after I get paid in a couple of weeks as I haven't got any petrol money etc..:(

Ok early days and already liking the flylady life! Not sure if it will last! Have got back from work and hoovered, dusted and tidied the hallway, stairs and landing! Haven't done the front room as well today because that'll take a bit more doing so will save that for day off!

Pigpen - that's fantastic news, yeahhhhhhhhh!!!!!
I've finished the first of the two course I need to finish. Just need to print off the two assignments tonight and get DH to photocopy the course evaluation sheet on Friday. What a weight off my shoulders!
I'm going to start the assignments for the second one tonight when i've taken DS to cubs - the first time he's been since he became ill so things are, hopefully, looking up.

Hiya
Went back to uni today, couldn't concentrate properly but got through it. A friend who I haven't seen in 2 years texted me today with her condolences, and girls I knew from junior school have sent messages. It's amazing how many people cared about my dad.
I've used my new teapot for the first time today, it was my mum's granny's and it's byooootiful. Tea tastes so much better out of a pot
Having pizza for tea tonight, I can't be bothered to cook. I made curry last night though. And I did some laundry so we actually have clean clothes.
Going to see Micheal Macintyre tomorrow night. Don't really feel like it but we're going with a friend and bought the tickets ages ago.
Hope everyone is okay
Hugs to all
