All done Tuesday Toots, living room looking fab,

    Still working on Monday's list
  • My Freezer broke down.....must have happened on sat.....the house was so smelly this am, I have had to dump so much food....ach well hey ho, just gotta get on with it!

    This am I have......
    Taxed my car:)
got birthday cards for DS3 who is 10 today
    Ironed for an hour
Went into school and explained the childrens absence yesterday.....Principle said he had heard and was sorry for my loss, then said it was exactly a year that my gran had a heart attack as he remembered that I was unsure if DS2 should do the 11+ or even if I should tell DS2 that his great gran was ill......I didnt tell him that she was ill and he done the 11+ and He passed!!

Grans funeral was amazing.....we laughed and cried, the priest was telling stories about her lovely ones and ones that I didnt remember, She got her first scooter when she was 62.....then passed her driving test @ 65 (first time) to take my ill granda to hospital appointments and her Grandchildren to various appointments and so the legend Supergran was born!!!!! I remember the car was a tiny blue mini:)
He also spoke of the time she couldnt pronounce the name of her tablets and called them "distant jesus's" and "instant jesus's" they were actually called distalgesics(sp).....He told of her making vestment garments for the missionaries by the light of a tillylamp and how she swam and played bowls.....
Gran had 6 children, 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren:)
he spoke of the tragedeys in her life, losing her husband son in law and grandson in the space of a few years, also of her greatgrandson 3 years ago, how she even at 90 was still the rock of the family offering support to my sister, when it happened.

DD brought the offertery up to the alter and each member of all the families had a part to do in the mass. This was the first time any of my kids were at a funeral and they made not only their great granny proud but they allowed me too have a big glow inside.

Right next on list is dumping all food in the civic amenity site.....
DS1 is playing in a concert tonight for school at 7.15 so sort out the kids clothes for that....also DS1s glasses are ready for collection so im gonna have to travel into town to collect them!!
Organise dinner......what to have??? mmmm spuds veg and chicken.
    clean the 3 bathrooms
All kids rooms are spotless as they done everything on sat when the news came through about gran they wanted to surprise me (sweethearts!!)
    :jIm going to be frugal:j
    :DIm going to be frugal:D
    ;)Im going to be frugal;)

Morning, have 2 "sick" children home - ie one who really was sick earlier and is now strethcing a bit, and one who totally pulled a fast one this morning and is totally fine  In Reception and Y2 a day off wont hurt though and I know for sure they will be ok to go in tomorrow.
Plus I dont have to go out in the rain and am planning a very lazy day at home :D
I've let them both have their DS's (well, DD1's is mine) - normally not allowed in the week - so they are happy and quiet. DD2 watching CBeebies.

DH hasnt left for work yet. He went to Asda at 1130pm last night to buy COD5 for the XBox which went on sale at midnight. He had to queue for 2 hours before he got to the top of the queue, got home at 130am and played it all night. Came to be at 7am.
This is DH not DS. I've told him repeatedly I think he's really sad :rotfl:but at least he is happy!
I need to get in the shower while he is still here.

 Hiya LadyLiberty - been thinking of you a lot recently as it's nearly a year since I found out I needed my op. Hope you're having a good day and giving those puddy's a nice big cuddle for me. I really miss not having cats so i'll just have to give yours a virtual hug xx

Miss Higgerty - so far i've managed to do NO studying today. I'm going to make myself do an hours study between 12 and 1. I keep thinking if I get these last assignments in then when i'm not working, cleaning etc my time really will be my own instead of having them hanging over me. I'm going to do 12 till 1 and 130 until 230 and see what that achieves. Please, if anyone hears me mention another course can you tell me NO WAY!!!!

Flying wise - i've cleaned the floors within an inch of their lives....to be honest I'd forgotton how good that microfibre mop thing was so i've given all downstairs floors a massive clean. Even though i've been doing them regularly the amount of dirt on the cloth was eughhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

Right, five minutes until study time xx
