  • Had a bit of a cleaning blitz whilst making tea. The list is looking like this:

Monday~ Kitchen of Grot and Dining Room of Gloom
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Declutter and mop/vacuum the floors
    Clear and wipe the worksurfaces[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Wipe the big appliances and units.. don't forget kickboards!
Wipe small appliances and replace.. do one thoroughly.. descale or decrumb or degunge![/STRIKE]
    Clear a sticky dishevelled cupboard
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Wipe the table and replace the cloth if necessary.
    Binbag dance!
Clean the oven and hob.. :D[/STRIKE]
    Extras
    1. Clean blinds/curtains and light fittings
    2. Wash the windows
    3. HHI
    4. Take a freezer/fridge inventory and see if you can start using it up and making space for christmas goodies!!
    My personal list:

    1. Write a christmas list.. whether it be cards or presents or just food shopping..
    2. Make your christmas plan.. what crafts things do you do? What meals are you cooking and when? What size lumps of meat do you need?
    3. Finalise those christmas lists.. Cards, presents, food etc..
    4. Make a note of any wrapping paper/cards etc you may need to buy.. don't forget the sticky tape!
    5. Make jewellery

I might start on my Xmas card list now - I've done my pressie one already! I've got a pressie spreadsheet, but I think last years list is on a scrappy bit of paper somewhere. No one in my office sends cards, so I don't bother either - the first year I worked there I wrote 20 cards and receive ZERO in return :D

I'm off to Boots on Thursday for their Christmas shopping event - I went to the first one and racked up the points - I've still got loads more to buy, so should make a list for that too!

Anyway, have a good eveing all and hugs for those who need it.

    xx

  • I've sorted my xmas lists now and worked out what I'm going to buy at boots. My personal list is looking like this:

    My personal list:
    [STRIKE]
    1. Write a christmas list.. whether it be cards or presents or just food shopping.. [/STRIKE]
    2. Make your christmas plan.. what crafts things do you do? What meals are you cooking and when? What size lumps of meat do you need?

    4. Make a note of any wrapping paper/cards etc you may need to buy.. don't forget the sticky tape![/STRIKE]
    5. Make jewellery

I need to post 9 cards (2 overseas) but the rest I can hand deliver or see the people just before Christmas - got a week off work before Christmas, so there should be plenty of time.

I actually don't know what we're doing for Christmas yet - I'll definitely see my family on Christmas eve, but I don't know whether we're staying at home on Christmas day, or going to mine or BF's family - whatever we do, it'll involve several hundred miles of driving! And BF can't drive...so it's muggins doing it! We can't go anywhere for more than a night anyway because of the cats, so we quite like to come home on Xmas day.

Anyway, I'm feeling quite organised now!
