    Morning all

It is calm here now and the sky is quite blue

DH and all boys off to Wembly today so a good few hours peace. I need to go out to 3 different towns later but will wait until lunchtime I think.

Really need to wash the floor this morning, finish my dailies and post an ebay parcel.

    Toots

Daft question alert - does it count if I complete some of the lists or go back to them at the weekend?

I did eventually make a big difference in DS1's room - lots of lego, trading cards and ridiculous amounts of rubbish picked up and put where they were supposed to be!

    Level One
    Declutter and vacuum the floor

Tidy away all the toys and clothes and games and books that are in the wrong places
Spend half an hour doing something for yourself.. you time is very important!

    Level Three
    Binbag dance!

Everything pretty much done for this week, although with some substitutions. I managed to get some Christmas cards started yesterday afternoon and the Christmas meal plan is developing. Trying to tweak it to use what is languishing in the fridge/cupboards/freezer instead of buying new. Trying to stay with my annual food budget and it's looking a bit dodgy!

had to go in dd's room yesterday to find a few things she wants ds to take to her when they meet up in a couple of weeks time. Found the stuff and put all the things back neatly in the wardrobe. ALso the bag of clothes in cupboard that was just 'stuffed' is now all folded neatly!

    Morning all

Posting from the bottom of pg 44  been busy at paid work and various other stuff in the evenings so skimming to catch up.

Hope everyone is well. Had a major wobble at work yesterday which brought all sorts of memories back :( But I think that was the reason I had such a lovely dream and didn't want to wake up this morning. DH and I got married again :) it was lovely just being with him, talking and cuddling up. But the funniest thing was MIL was not there! What does that say about my subconscious!!!

I see a couple of people have been fretting about cleaning ovens that have languished in grime or a long while. Rather than consider replacements why not get it professionally cleaned by someone like these. Then you just need to keep it clean inbetween times, it has to be cheaper than replacing it will save lots of elbow grease but frustration.

Better get organised for swimming, back later folks.

toots - is there a nurse regularly checking your wound? If it's not improving you need to be asked to see the tissue viability nurse. Let me know if my mum can help - she may be able to advise with a photo of the wound!

Well, my house has survived the gales so far but a buiding about a mile away had part of its roof blown off during the night. It's still extraordinarily breezy here today and there's a flash warning out until this afternoon.

I have my bedding in the WM at the moment but I suspect it may have to dry on the rads as it's just started to rain again!

I was going to go foraging for food today but I think I may just leave it until tomorrow...
