Hmmm, I think I'll spent the next 30 minutes finishing off the kitchen list. It's so windy at the moment, I'm worried about the trees at the bottom of the garden. If one of them's going to come down on the kitchen, then at least it'll be tidy when the emergency services arrive!

  • Morning! I've been up for ages, been waiting for DH to wake up so he could go and get my breakfast, as we are out of milk and bread! It was sunny when he left, but is raining again now. Incredibly windy too. Soappie, hope your trees stay up!

I've washed up and cleaned the hob thoroughly - once I've had breakfast I need to have a bath and go down to the post office and library. Groan, really don't want to go out in this! After that, I'm just going to knit in front of the lightbox.

    Hugs Mummyof5

Rach are you ok after your fall? Hope your DH is ok and in a better mood soon

Diva, have a good day today, I love my kiss I get every day when I see your post xx

Julie how come you were awake since 3? Insomnia?

Embb, oooh Paperchase, *whimpers* What did you get?

Sexy I’m so pleased for you, you sound really relieved

Holly hope your car can be fixed

    Hugs AnW’s mum

DH is up and just as grumpy as last night. He has got a cold from somewhere. I've come back to bed with the laptop to stay out of the way. Might go into town to look for some boots. This is the kind of time I need friends around here, as I don't really have anywhere to go (except work, which is tempting!).

eta: rose, yeah, don't worry I'm fine, was only a slip on some decking! Happened to be with the director of the park at the time who got straight on the phone to get it powerwashed and chicken wire put on to make it non slip! Just a bit embarrassing and bit bruised, but nothing serious! Thankfully I have plenty of padding!
