Orange Dolphing Upgrade Query

Hello There

I was hoping someone could give me some advise as I am not very mobile savvy.

My daughter at Uni had her bag stolen last night ... have spent all days sorting out bank cards, blocking phone, phoning police etc .... not easy on a Sunday when she is in a state, 300 miles away with no mobile phone to call anyone

Anyway the phone that is gone is one she got in February this year on a 24 month Dolphin 15 deal. I am pretty sure she wouldn't have taken insurance!

They would give me "general advice" but said she would need to call them ( from a payphone or a friends mobile). They were waffling on about her paying £70 for a new phone or £68 for cover.

Now my head is a bit clearer, I am thinking it would be better getting her to order a replacement SIM and just putting it in a cheap Orange phone but am also wondering if upgrading would be an option.

She is 19, a bit dizzy at the best of times and really upset to have had her stuff taken and want to make sure she dosn't get ripped of here!

Any advice would be really appreciated :T
Heading to Melbourne Australia ( hopefully Summer 2010 )
:D
