Best thing BT can do (and I realise it's for shareholders and not staff) is to only employee UK based people who've been tested for their grasp of the English language.
As I said it's a business decision and I'm happy with BT and I suppose I like low prices like everyone else. Maybe we're all to blame
The best BT communication I had was via email and although I've not gotten around to framing it I have retained it in my funny text file:
"I suggest you to confirm all your quarries by dialling the above number"
Almost makes me weep
