    Phishing EMail.

Dont click on the link !!! Normally leads to spoof website where they capture your details.

The website in question has been reported to Microsoft for containing threats to your computer that might reveal personal or financial information.

    SEE this article. http://www.millersmiles.co.uk/report/8301
  • If it doesn't mention your name , account number and phone number, it is probably not from BT.

The wording is rather odd too - often a sign of a Nigerian scam.

"billing informations are out of order."

I'm sure even BT could manage better grammar than that.

Grammar and spelling - the clues are there!
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

Alas, I've had much worse from BT.

Even O2 use these semi-literate people from gawd knows where. We have our own perfectly good semi-literate people here in the UK but foreign-based is cheaper obviously.

Best things with these emails is to ignore all of them. Nothing very important comes via email and if there's is something you need to know go to PayPal, eBay or bank directly by opening a brand new window and login and see your messages there.

    Hi Guys

Picked up this post this morning and have sent it off for investigation.

I have been advised that this is a phishing e-mail and we are now opening an investigation to determine its origin. If you should receive any e-mails of this nature please do not click on any links not directly pointing you to the bt.com website.

Thank you for understanding and for bringing this to our attention.
