Why bother dragging a thread up from 4 years ago ??? or a year as of the last reply ???
Maybe because he is desperate for work and you never know his business could go bust, insolvent, probably on the edge of bankruptcy.....
Spamming in all but name
Quote:"Oh yes I nearly forgot to add, we also cut Cisa keys on genuine Cisa blanks cheaper than ^them^ - with next day delivery, and we are master locksmiths. Cisa keys are £5.95 inc vat and free delivery or just £3.95 each inc vat and delivery if you buy 5". Just PM him for details....:rotfl:0 -

Hmmm don't think so - unit next door burst into flames tonight, but we think our £500k of key cutting machines survived and we have already found new premises to keep it flowing between 7.30pm and 8.30pm tonight...we don't do excuses - and we don't need a hand out from a disaster - the company next door has been wiped out tonight. If you want photos have a look:
https://www.facebook.com/Lockandkey.co.uk?ref=hl
^^ I guess a picture of this fire tonight will be spam - because we sell fire.... zzzzzzz
Now if we where 'going bankrupt' and desperate - do you think we would do that? Or just make excuses and cash in?
Or explain our 20K+ credit accounts with all our suppliers.... Yale, VBH, etc...
I could accuse you of jealousy or slander - but as you clearly have nothing to lose or ability to pay, I'll just let it wash over my broad shoulders.
So how about you tell everyone who you are? - or stop pretending to 'level' anything.
So far all I've seen is:
I'm totally open about myself and my company - and all we get from 'leveller2911' is slander and hear say with no authority and gimmick names on a forum.
Either stand up and be counted - or step aside and stop pretending.
I'm not hiding or running - so why the slander and gimmick names? I'll give you a few days to come up with a lame excuse.
But lame excuses don't deliver value for money - or refunds, they tend to hide behind email addresses and forum blogs, post count means nothing in the real world..... take a look in the mirror? If you stay loyal all the time, you get treated like a dog.0 -
I could accuse you of slander -
Happy to see you in court Mathew, MSE have my full details so put up or shut up.The fact is your still trying to promote your business here by asking posters to PM you for quotes, posting the prices of your products including free postage etc etc etc.You dragged this thread up after a year of inactivity so you searched for this thread via the search facility so you are obiviously a spammer ,otherwise why drag up a thread thats 4years old and the last post was over a year ago.The amount of spamming your doing it makes me wonder if you are desperate for custom or just suffer from OCD.....
Rumbled again Mathew ............

Now there I agree with you your very open about your company. One of the first rules of a public Forum is NOT to post personal information and the only reason you do is to promote your company.

I give advice on Carpentry and Joinery its up to other members if they take it or not.I also take advice from other posters so if I think your advice is right I would gladly take it on board but the fact remains your spamming the website at every opportunity and thats why the mods removed your posts. You then try and discredit other locksmiths who don't belong to the Master Locksmiths Association which is no different from the Guild Of Master Craftsmen,FENSA or any other trade body. Its a membership club but anyone who chooses not to join is somehow inferior which is B*llsh*t.I don't need to belong to a club to carry out work for the National Trust,English Heritage etc I just need the correct Public Liability Insurance.I'm no better or worse than any other tradesman but you seem to think your superior to the rest of us because your a paid up member of a club. Its a club that Polices itself in the same way that FENSA does.
All this bitterness is solely down to you being spanked by the mods for spamming so grow up and move on. Lastly if you wish to take this further then complain to the MSE moderators and take it further0 -

Sorry buddy but FENSA & MLA are not a 'subscription' based membership or a club. (You sound bitter now as you are clearly not FENSA registered...but the insurance industry insists on this - you don't have it, so therefore buy your glass from a FENSA registered 3rd party/mate?)
Funny how I can put our MLA number here, and we work for the M.O.D, Met Police, Schools etc. Must be a simple paid for club?
Yet you are a chippie who thinks FENSA registered is a 'club' or some kind of paid membership. I laughed at this - big time. I guess you just find it hard to stick 4mm glass below knee height..because no one will supply it to you lol.
Try buying a sheet glass heat treatment plant to make toughened BS Marked glass - feel free to talk to Martin @ Lee Glass and he will explain FENSA is not a 'Guild of Master blah blah' as it cost him over £2m to install it. But of course you seem to have this already in your non FENSA registered factory???
Bitterness - mods removing posts? Maybe 1 or 2 max, but had more supported and found true, and more removed by your 'coven'.
Life's too short for this forum, but my posts have helped quite a few, and with registered authority - I'm not the one rambling on, without any industry or insurance approved licences and still hiding behind who you really are, maybe a forum troll? or a bored pretend builder/chippie/glazier/locksmith/washer woman)
Superior? No, I'm happy to let my customers speak for me. Visible by anyone online. 1,000 customers a month - growing 30% a month
.
I find it more productive & rewarding listening to my customers, the insurance industry & the Police Commissioners than worrying about my next Ronald McDonald's Star in this forum. Hence the delay in my response. If you stay loyal all the time, you get treated like a dog.0 -

Glad to see your back Mathew.
Just to educate you firstly FENSA IS a self regulating scheme which anyone can join for a fee and requires NO qualifications whatsoever.
You are correct I am not a member of FENSA because I don't need to be a member of a "membership club". I can run my business perfectly well without paying a subscription to a club. You obviously know absolutely nothing about self certification Schemes.
Secondly the insurance industry does NOT insist on
contractors being a member of FENSA or CERTASS for that matter.I have had contracts with Insurance companies and never been asked about FENSA registration.
Thirdly no I don't buy my glass from a 3rd party FENSA registered company as there are many companies out there who supply only glass and sealed units (CE and BS standard)
With regards to MLA can you just confirm that MLA do not charge any membeship fees or documentation fees?.What qualifications are needed to be accepted as a member?.
Not your day is it, been out in the sun too long Mathew?:rotfl:

Oh dear Mathew, I think you have lost the plot, possibly sunstroke so drink plenty of water and wear a hat when you go out.
I'm not even going to bother pulling this apart.Oh and SPAM again I see..:T Just can't help yourself can you mate.Feel free to post a link to any post from me that questions the advice you have given on any thread. Truth is Mathew you won't find one because I have'nt posted one.
As mentioned before you have taken it personally because you had your bum spanked by the mods for promoting your own website on your posts. Telling people to send you personal messages for quotes and saying you can post free of charge if they buy 5 is spam all day long.
Listen Mathew calm youself down and pop off and educate yourself on what FENSA means......
In short its a self regulating scheme whereby window fitting companies fit windows, doors etc and self certify that the work complies with the current Building regulations. Of coarse some (sizeable minority) will take shortcuts and fit windows/doors that do not comply with regs.FENSA charge a "membership " fee and also a fee for every certifiate issued. Its open to abuse ,pure and simple.FENSA Scheme is an installation Scheme not a manufacturing scheme.
If you buy a window from a company it won't be FENSA certified because its an installation certificated scheme and NOT a manufacturing Scheme..
I use the local Authority "Building notice scheme" which means that the building inspector checks all of my installations.0
