Posting links/pictures question...please help a newbie

hello all. I have only recently discovered this wonderful site and I am addicted already LOL.:j
Quick question though..... how many posts do I have to have before I can post links in my posts? Only asking cause I want to post some pics of my sock monkeys inthe sock monkey thread .... but it wont let me cause it is seeing the image code as a link.....any advice please?:confused:

    Hi. :) Welcome to MSE.

    I don't think the MSE team are going to make whatever any current threshold is public. That sort of info would help the spammers that the restriction is trying to block.

    I'm sure if you continue to post and contribute to the site then you will get there in no time. ;)
