NEW PHONE / SAT NAV

I need a new phone to replace my Sony Ericcson P1i. Need it for some email, read and display (and preferably edit) word/excel docs, good camera and battery.

I use gmail for email andhave unlimited access so any opinions on Blackberry using thiswould be appreciated. On the Se P1i i could add email accounts etc and i'm sure you can do that on the Crackberry but can you do this without paying them the extra monthly fee.

As i now drive more in central London and her beautiful suburbs i need to update sat nav, my Becker sat nav that i bought dirt cheap thanks to MSE directs me to too many one way streets, ones that are closed and have been for years etc etc. It is costing me money in lost jobs due to this!

I was thinking that i might be better paying for a decent mobile with sat nav but are they any good, taking calls (bluetooth) and directing etc

Hope you can help, thanks in advance (which is always a good line to put on a letter of complaint!)

:money:

I've got an iPhone 3GS with CoPilot SatNav which is regarded as the best now and only £25.99, it's the best selling App on the iPhone. Of course the iPhone is also brilliant for email and the intenet. I used to have a P1i and the setting up for emails was incredibly difficult, I couldn't believe how easy it was to set up my emails on the iPhone.

Phone GPS are ok for occaisonal use - often use mine on holiday.

If your job depends on it buy a separate sat nav with its bigger screen better aerial etc designed for the job

    Cheers, thought so!

Next question is which? Preferably with safety camera alerts!
