Have we had that many members PPR'd lately? Or is it just Mewbie setting up all his alt accounts in advance?:D

In all seriousness, it's getting a little old.... Isn't there a way to block them or something?

this is all house price related - when house prices were going down there were a few - now house prices have increased there have been huge numbers. it's very cyclical.

Apparently not. Best to do what others on here do, and that is to report constantly anyone you disagree with. Eventually they will get banned.

I heard that not all posters get a PPR. They can be stopped from posting or accessing PM's without the need to put PPR against their name. Apparently they can log in as usual, but cannot see this forum, or reply to anything.

So if you dont hear from someone, but they dont seem to be PPR'd - that might be the reason.

For some people it's the chance for a fresh start, befiore you-know-who starts reporting them again. But Googlemail is your friend.

that's word for word exactly what my friend mewbie said - it's becoming a bit too obvious now...

Yes, although on this particular board I can't think of any reason why they can't simply use their original id.
Because you can't thank your own posts.

I never thought of that, although it's a bit sad

What does it matter? If anything, being forced to start again means getting rid of all that baggage of post and thankyou count. Do you ever look at yours and think that perhaps you have been here a little too long, and that it is maybe a reflection of a sadness and lacking in your life rather than some badge of seniority?

Thousands of posts on house prices. For what purpose?

You may or may not have 'spotted' a mewbie identity. I suspect that will be of very little concern to anyone.

As for blocking them out, and spoiling his or her 'fun'. If they want to they can create new identities, log in, and do what they want. (Depends on server stuff apparently). Maybe you would be heartbroken at losing 'chucky', maybe it means a lot to you. I suspect the character created as mewbie may relish the challenge, the opportunity to be free again.

In some ways your brief moment of 'victory' may be short lived. Now you don't know who he is, or where he is.

    Nice to meet you stranger.

  • Intastella (as their name suggests) is from another planet which runs about 15 mins ahead of ours, I am currently negotiating with Intastella for a racing results service to be emailed to me as soon as they see our results on their planet. Please keep quiet about it though I don't want competition to jack the price up.

HeHe, think of all the scams you could run. They are obviously confusing your name with "intersteller"

At first I thought it was just a local slang for what you feel for your close personal friend stella ;)

You probably just like the band though
