  • I've been to the docs this morning (was going for something else really) and he has given me a self-certificate that means I'm not going back until friday. I feel really weak and shaky after walking to the doctors and back, so having a jacket potato in a bit. Tummy issues almost all gone thank god, just waiting to get my appetite back!

I find the clear chicken noodle simmer soup to be great! I always have a packet in, although the 10calorie soup (chicken) would be just as good. if its a 'self inflicted tummy' (hangover lol) then pot noodle works wonders strangely hehe
I THINK is a whole sentence, not a replacement for I Know

Mint tea is good for both digestion and appetite...if you're dehydrated avoid anything but water and fresh additives to it...tea, coffee and COKE all dehydrate you more...they contain caffeine.

You can easily go 7 days without food with very little side effects ..water you can't go long without at all.

My concultant when I went into hospital a year or so ago told me that I was seriously dehydrated, I was amazed...but I was drinking all the wrong things and we all do that. Not enough plain water ..2 litres a day is the amount he said.

I was nil by mouth for a week and felt fine once rehydrated ...I wouldn't worry about a day or two it won't hurt.

You'll enjoy that first proper feed when you eat it ...hope that's soon :)
