Orange replacement blackberry warranty
Hi All,
I have had several problems with my blackberry trackball resulting in several replacement handsets being given to me by orange over the past 14 months.
Today my blackberry has had the same problem, I can not use the trackball to navigate downwards meaning I cannot access any of its features. I called orange customer care and they agreed that the handset needed to be replaced as they had done previously.
However they told me that due to me being in the 14th month of an 18 month contract that the handset is now outside of its 12 month warranty. But the particular handdset in question was only sent to me in august as a replacement to a previous phone that was faulty.
Can they really only cover the handset for the first 12 months of the contract or do I have any rights given that the handset i currently have from them is less than 3 months old.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
J.

No, if they have given you a new handset you have a further 12 months on that handset itself. If Orange aren't helping, try speaking to blackberry themselves....

I don't think the warranty restarts everytime you get a replacement, if that was ther case there'd be little point in getting Orange Care. For example if I got a replacement PS3 tomorrow under warranty then the warranty wouldn't restart0
