Also on amazon is this onehttp://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000CDE6IM/202-4268756-9108625?v=glance&n=560798&s=electronics&v=glance
They both look exactly the same apart from one says transflash, what does this mean, is transflash better? Will only transflash work.
These to cards are both sold on amzon market place so i cant use by £20 gift voucher. Amazon themselves also sell this card http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000FFURIU/202-4268756-9108625?v=glance&n=560798&s=electronics&v=glance.
Will the micro sd from this fit the SLVR? Also will the main card work in my DIGITAL camera? At the moment i have this card in it
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00006JUGV/202-4268756-9108625?v=glance&n=560798&s=electronics&v=glance
The two cards do look different as the one I have at the moment has straight edges and the other one has gaps in the edges and the bottom?
thanks for any help tom

MiniSD is smaller than the SD card your camera uses, but you can get an adapter to put the MiniSD into an SD device. Similarly, a MicroSD (remember, same as Transflash) can be converted to MiniSD OR full-size SD.
Should be pretty obvious you can't fit a quart into a pint-pot - so a bigger one won't fit into the slot of a device that uses a smaller one. (i.e. can't use SD in a Mini/MicroSD slot, and can't use a MiniSD in a MicroSD slot; other way round is possible using aforementioned adapters - which come with many cards).

So if you have 250quid+ camera then I would perhaps stay away from the mymemory card and invest in the dearer 133x cards which actually read and write at 133x speed ie 20MB/s.

anyone know whether the (original) Tomtom Go is particularly fussy about SD cards? I want to install the European maps I have bought but need a larger card than the 256Mb one that shipped
with the device. Also, is there an upper limit as to the amount of memory it will recognise on the card?

My son wants a Scandisk 1GB for his Samsung D600, which we were gonna get from MyMemory (£29ish) - does anyone know where to get it cheaper?
I see on the 7dayshop.com that they have a 2GB Scandisk for £34.99 - is it the same card and worth paying the extra £5 for the extra memory?

7dayshop.com also do a 4gb SD card, for under 70 delivered :T I remember the days that you would pay that amount for a 512mb card!

...and as an afterthought, scan's onday only offers last all weekend, it must reffer to business days.

I still have an old "Byte" magazine with an advert for the first memory at below 1c per byte. At that rate 4GB would be over $40m so it does seem a good dealCan I help?0
