So are we all in agreement that the g 1GB Secure Digital (SD) Memory Card from Amazon is the best deal at the mo, im after 2...although im sure they'll be even cheaper next week

Its £15.01 delivered from Amazon themselves, look on the right hand side of the link you posted you will see Amazon selling.

Are Kingston really that much better than Viking, or is there not much difference? Mymemory seems to be quite good prices 15.99 or 17.99 for Elite, but then there's about £4 added on for shipping!

Also, the Peak website seems to be out of stock for theirs!

I'm looking for the SD 1 GB for a CAnon A620 camera, so if anyone could advise that Viking is good for this, I would get one today!

Being a new model camera using the DIGIC II chip I think your camera would be better off with a high speed SD card. As I think this one is standard speed I wouldn't recommend it.

Does not appear to be sold by Amazon themselves. If you add the Amazon item to the basket and then select it , it goes to a page saying "Dispatched and sold by thecomponentshop ".

Might just be an error of course.
