Upgrade due - exceeded 18 month contract by 6 months.

Currently paying £35 a month with o2, contract expired long ago.

Firstly, anything I can do about having exceeded contract? Not particuarly impressed that I wasn't informed at expiration. (Or was I??)
Means I have obliviously been paying this fee when I could have a new phone, r I may have wanted to cancel.

What options would you fine people recommend? Go for some other deal and try to claw my money back?
Or is there some stupendous upgrade I should go for, on existing contract, i phone maybe (I doubt it)

Any comments appreciated.

You'll get no where with trying to claw any money back unfortunately.

It's your responsibility to check when your contract ends - o2 may or may not let you know as part of a promotion etc, but ultimately it's up to you.

Your best bet is to try and get a decent retentions deal, which could prove tricky as O2 won't offer anything substantial. The other option is to switch to SIM only on O2, wait until the new year and see what happens as regards to Iphone pricing on Vodaphone.

May be worth asking for your PAC code to see if 02 Retentions can offer you anything.

Its in your contract that it will move onto 30 day rolling after 18 months,

It is upto you to check our contract end date, Vodafone for me were ringing every 2-3 weeks for the last 3 months of my contract offering better and better deals, in the end i left to goto orange for better signal at my university campus.

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies

Your contract doesn't end until invoked by either party. You merely completed the minimum 18 month term.
