No 206 reporting August overpayment of £797.71. Finding that im addicted to paying every single penny into the mortgage account and watching as the daily interest amount reduces. Looking forward to checking the new balance on 2 Sept when my monthly direct debit is paid......How sad is that....think I should get out more!0

Decided I really have to settle down my spending a bit on my house; whilst I am pretty comfortable, I need to realise that spending so much bloody money on useless stuff (I'd set aside over £1k for decorators to come and repaint the doors in my house, since they're slightly less than perfect) would be much better spent overpaying my mortgage.
Also (sadly) kinda worrying whether I actually want to live there, before I've even moved in... so don't want to waste anything necessarily0
