The extreme heat has fried some of my seedlings and definately stopped lots of things from germinating.
Does anyone know a good gardening website that actually gives germination temperature ranges for vegetable plants? I can't find anything on any of my usual online hang outs. No point in resowing until I know what'll go.

    Hi samnmalc,

I think you're right - I asked a friend who has an organic farm to have a look and she suspected pigeons/birds and maybe a few slugs for good measure!. I have now built large green net tents in the vain hope of keeping them out and my poor brassica's recovering !! - you live and learn ...

    Cheers
