Spammers - slow to remove/ban users - can it be faster?

What can be done about new spammers arriving, posting spam posts all over the boards, being reported, then posting more spam, this time with a offensive tones?

The current user disrupting the balance is cheapdeals.

Can't people be blocked faster, it seems to take ages, and during this period, they spam all over the place?

It does appear all of his posts have been removed.

Can I suggest that the boards setup some sort of filter, so when 3 or 4 posts in a short period of time are reported as spam that a user's account is suspended?

This would make it much easier to deal with, and save us all the effort of letting the spammers free reign until a board admin gets the chance to read the posts, delete and often not ban the user?

The weakness in the forums

1. hard to find new posts by same user as it takes a while for search facility to propagate there posts

2. They can easily keep posts without being removed by spam button if they post in existing threads

Also appears to be down to how many of the admin team happen to be online at any time.
