Told you I had a list
All the "Meals", stocks & ice cream are home-made. As you can see, I stock up on meat and had a delivery recently.
My nearest supermarket is 12 miles away so I only go to stock up. Last visit was 23rd November (yes, not December).
I buy meat in bulk and have it delivered so I only need to go to the greengrocers/farm shop once a week for veg. And then only in the winter as I grow my own during the summer.
Anyway ... I've now taken this off topic. Apologies, but I couldn't resist posting the freezer list. You can see why I needed oneWarning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -
but the wierdest thing is i have 3 pots of cream in the freezer, and a handful of prawns with their shells still on. What could I make with that!!!
A sauce for pasta.
A thai-style curry - mild & aromatic. To be authentic, you would use coconut milk, but we've got cream.
A prawn mousse
A souffle
If you had some salmon, the prawns & cream would make a lovely sauce to go over the top. Just then need to add vegetables.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -
I didnt mean that's ALL i have in the freezer LOL ;D
I havent made the full list yet but i have some mushroom soup made when my daughter picked about 3 pounds of the things, some stale bread rolls, gammon which no-one likes but me, value ice cream, probably some gooseberries from a supply which seems never to run out, a chicken, cheap sausages, a few bags of veg. Im going to make a trifle to use the cream later in the week dont think i will be adding the prawns!Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

Never be without tins of chopped tomatoes and tins of campbells condensed soups. Simmer a tin of tomatoes for 10 mins with a little extra tom. puree if you have it and you can just pour it over pasta! It's nicer with bacon or something like that, but honestly, just the tomatoes will do, seasoned how you like 'em (plain in this house but the boys are fussy!)
If you like sweetcorn, mix a tin of value sweetcorn with a tin of campbells soup and that makes a good sauce too. Heat in a pan or you can pour it over browned sausages or chicken and casserole it.Signature removed for peace of mind0
