Best phone for internet

Can someone please tell me what is the best phone for internet use on pay as you go? I don't need any hi tech gadgets, just something that stores numbers, makes & receives calls, has a screen big enough to see and has very fast internet access. I mainly want to use it in Wetherspoons (free wi fi) for Betfair. I bet in running so internet speed is top priority. I have been using my laptop but i can't be bothered carrying it around and i thought a phone might be a good alternative.

Nokia 5800 is very good and has a large enough screen.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

Iphone ticks all the boxes for you
Not cheap but good at what it does0 -
HTC Hero or other Android based phone would be a good choice.
As it supports Flash which could be usefull for the web.0 -

If you want fast, how about a Samsung Jet?0

Get a phone with screen as big as possible and then install Opera Mobile browser.
To be honest, unless you visit sites designed for mobile access, browsing desktop sites in mobile [whatever handset] is not much fun.
Nokia 5800 is good among cheaper models.Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0 -
Samsung Jet would probably be the best option for a pretty low price.
As for higher priced phones, the iPhone, SE Satio, and quite a few HTC's also tick all ur boxes.0 -
