    There have been issues with Play with credit card scam also.

    Quite worrying this with Play giving your details out like that

    Perhaps you might be best contacting information commissioner regarding data protection along with Play

    OP - how do you know that your details have gone to other people? Did Play confirm this? If so, it might be worth checking your credit report etc, just in case someone has used your info fraudulently.

    They told me when I asked if it was just me that had got other peoples info that they had received lots of calls saying that this had also happened to them, who knows how many people were effected they said that they would email me when the had sorted it out no email as yet.

    Somewhat pointless as Play.com are not a UK company, they are registered in the Channel Islands - so UK laws do not apply to them, conveniently!!!!

    Update email arrived they think that offering me £5 is good enough for giving my info to other people.
