You send it to whoever owns the debt (whoever added the default)....2010 - year of the troll

Thanks, was considering going in with an offer to the DCA for 50% in exchange they remove the default, have you heard any success stories from this?0 -

Start at 20% and work up in 5% increments to a maximum of 40% afterwhich, forget it. Bear in mind only DCA's will take reduced F&F settlements - the lender will refuse (usually)...
Yes, had a few defaults removed doing this process - usually it is mobile phones though...

The DCA contacted me this morning offering a settlement figure of £3000, the balance is £3570.0 -
