    Thanks, was considering going in with an offer to the DCA for 50% in exchange they remove the default, have you heard any success stories from this?

    Start at 20% and work up in 5% increments to a maximum of 40% afterwhich, forget it. Bear in mind only DCA's will take reduced F&F settlements - the lender will refuse (usually)...

    Yes, had a few defaults removed doing this process - usually it is mobile phones though...

    I missed London while living in Ormskirk. Although its not much fun back in London with no money and back with parents!

    The DCA contacted me this morning offering a settlement figure of £3000, the balance is £3570.

    36 years old. And this is the worst situation i have ever been in since i was 18. I was even better off when i was at Uni :cry:
