Wifes friends £200 mobile bill !!!

Wifes friend phoned her last night to say she couldnt go away as they had been planning because she had an unexpected mobile phone bill for £200 !!!

Wifes friend is married got kids. They're really struggling for money at the moment as well. Apparently, shes used over 16 hours more calls than her call allowance (600 minutes). She reckons she didnt realise.

Am I the only one who thinks this is astounding behaviour ? I would be absolutely gutted if I had a mobile bill for £200.

Shouldnt complain though because the mobile companies love people like her who go over by this amount. Balances out the tight wads like me who never go over.

Wow. How could you not realize? I check my balance all the time, and never go too close to my limits.

If you want to help these people, then do so.

If you just want to show off how stupid your friends are, I'd hope your username doesn't relate to your real name, in case either the friend or your wife reads this

Our local barmaid showed me her one last month for 590 pound, got 13 pages of itemised bill, we went through it all and it was correct, stupid things like talking to her friend in the same town on her mobile for 1 hour, only takes 10 minutes to walk to her house and she has a house phone.

I was amazed, we talked about pay as you go, but she would not have it, but i think it would be a lot better for her, would she really go to the shop everyday and ask for a 20 pound card?? not noticing it adding up can be very dangerous.
