Toto-you are absolutely spot on. As ever.
She has been told categorically be the "conventional" oncologist, that there is absolutely no hope of a cure-it is terminal, and sooner rather than later. The quack in the US has sold her a glimpse of a future-he says if she follows his diet to the letter, there is a "good" chance of a complete cure. Now anyone with common sense can see that drinking raw calves liver, shoving coffee up your jacksee twice a day and swallowing 200 pills of dubious origin is not going to cure it- BUT IT GIVES HER THE HOPE OF A CURE WHERE THERE WAS PREVIOUSLY NONE. So for that reason alone we will support her in it-I would never dream of rubbishing it in front of her, I just wish she would consider the chemo too.Although if its as rough as you say Toto, maybe its just not worth it. It's now in her lungs and skull, as well as legs, hips, back, ribs and she just looks dreadful. I wish there was something I could do.
Thanks again for all your thoughts-you are all so kind-SRM x

Hugs SRM ~ must be so tough for you (and your friend) I can only imagine what you're going through.

When we lost my auntie to the horrid C word, it was awful and I remember my Mum and her trying to come with alternatives, goji berries was one! xx
