    Where is everyone?!?

I'm at work as usual, pretty tired today but got a rest day from running (which is good because I have run for the last 7 days ), then off up to Leeds tonight on a very late train to see the OH :D

Anything exciting going on in chez srm?

Good morning MSEers, We had a good bonfire night last night! Kids loved it, Elliot was lighting the fireworks so he was Mr Responsible and thoroughly in charge.

    Becky how's the ankle now?

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

It helps that they're a really nice bunch with very mixed abilities, I thought when I first joined that they'd be leaving me standing but it's not the case at all.

SRM that's some heavy stuff there, hope your coffee morning goes ok with BF

fleeting visit to say  to you all, have a good one, may be back later if it's quiet enough here. Mini-Gun #2 off school with oink-flu, but he's bored now and looking for mischief when he feels up to it :(

Yeah it is Linda....when she was diagnosed she was confident this quack diet would sort it. It's quite plain to everyone (but her) that it's not working...her consultant sat her down the other day and told her straight-she is seriously ill and needs chemo NOW!!! Her quack doc still says she can't do his diet and the chemo-just one or the other....and he says his diet WILL cure it-it's just whether it will cure her before she damn well dies!!! I'm so angry with quacks who charge vulnerable people thousands of pounds for their quackery. It's not as it she can afford it!The other problem is, she is taking so many pills a day (200ish) that they are filling her up, so she's just not eating. She has gone from a size 16 to an 8 within 12 months...

Morning all, good luck with the difficult talk SRM.

Had a good night out - cinema (free preview thingy), meal (2 for 1 voucher), watched a few fireworks... really sleepy this morning though!

Go on hols on Tuesday, meant to be working Monday but going to see if I can take that off too, seems daft coming in for one day
