I am having problems with the GLTC and would like to correspond with the MD, Jamie Reeve.
I haven't been able to google an email address for him, and wondered if anyone out there has managed to be in contact with him before?
Their "Customer Service Team" is anything but, and it turns out they are just a call centre so no real interest or investment in helping customers
They have only replied to emails when I have written something like "Please have the courtesy to respond to my email" in the subject line. And even then, they only make promises to contact me which they then fail to keep.
I have no demanded a full refund (including postage) for my order which I put in on the 23rd August. They say this will take 7 days to process. We'll see.
As a customer I am left bemused and dissatisfied. How can a company care so little about fulfilling its obligations and trying to satisfy the customer? They could not have been more slack and offhand. It is evident they really don't care TWO HOOTS!!!

I've had problems with GLTC recently as well. I ordered 2 items of furniture back in Oct - 1 which arrived immediately and the other I had to wait for. I was charged for 1 item, but I had to return it as it was unsuitable. A month later, still no refund. I emailed CS and was told I hadn't been charged for it, only for the other item which was due to arrive shortly.
Then, the 2nd piece eventually arrived in Dec and 10 days later, I was charged for it. I only realised this month unfortunately, as I was willing to trust a company with GLTC's reputation. More fool me! So I get back to GLTC who deny all knowledge of the first payment taken, despite acknowledging it in the first instance, when I requested a refund. On the phone, they are distant, bordering on rude and you are lucky to get a response with them via email.
Extremely disappointing considering the retail awards they've received. If anyone wouldn't mind passing me the MD's email too, I'd be most grateful.
I'd also advise you to always check your statements if you do business with them, even after a few months.0 -
You can also post reviews on sites like Blagger.com etc. I am all for publicising bad customer service, especially those who don't refund. Thanks to checking MSE first I have avoided several companies that I was going to order from initially.0
