Hi Guys,
Please would you give me your thoughts on the following spec ring.
Emerald Cut Diamond
Emerald Cut
0.95ct
D
VS1
Polish VG
SymetryVG
Flourescence Nil
Cert: GIA
Platinum Mount
Here are a few photos of the mount, it includes 0.4 ct in the shoulders.
Please give me your views, the mount is getting made and the stone bought seperate. The images show roughly what the band will look like.

Please let me know your thoughts on whether you reckon its worth it or not.
Many Thanks
Rich :j

I like the diamonds on the shoulders (is that the right word? lol) but the main diamond for me is a bit too bulky looking but I do like small diamonds because I have small fingers.
I haven't a clue about the clarity and things like that though. Think happy & you'll be happy
I :heart2: my doggies

It is a bit like mine, but I think there are too many diamonds on the shoulders. Mine is like a solitaire, but then has 3 diamonds on each side of the shoulder and they're more spaced out IFYWIM, I think they look a bit too 'blingy' when they are all together like that.Mummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0

Now I'm the opposite way sorry lol
I love the stone, but not keen on all the stones that sit on the shoulders.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Don't forget to think about how the wedding band would look next to it - a plain band might look a bit out of place next to it?
Also - I'm not sure if it would apply to this style of ring but am I right in saying that rings with stones on the band are quite difficult to resize? Just a thought, but I could be wrong.0 -
I like the Emerald cut stone, that particaular setting you have chosen is very popular in America at the moment. I personally would have it as a solitaire ring, the small diamonds detract from the main stone in my honest opinion. This would be a classic look as opposed to a current design. Good luck!!A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

We dont know your soon to be fiance likes or dislikes, so asking an open forum doesnt make much sense to me
.....other than you wanting to show off:rolleyes:

Aww come on, that's not fair, he's only asking for views on the ring. I didn't think he was showing off at all.
OP, nobody here would know if it is worth it or not as you haven't mentioned the cost.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
