Sorry I meant the working tax payer who earns 12 grand a year that was mentioned in a previous posting.:D
We could argue about this all night, but if he has a good accountant, his earnings, and tax contributions will be miles apart, and if you read my post, i agreed, he has a right to claim, regardless of how much he earns, but if you have that much mony, why should it be that way?
If they dont need it, why can they not 'opt out' and increase the amount paid to those less fortunate?
My point, although not very clear i admit, was even if they did not claim it, no one else would benefit.
So stop giving me a hard time:rolleyes::p
I agree with both you and max, but regardles it wont make any differance to anyone:rolleyes:
Well except the govermant, they always winThats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….

This would be a good idea. I'm sure the politicians would be first in line to give theirs away.

This you could argue all night - do the Beckhams (when they are in England) get paid CB, do they all apply for CTC & WTC? Does Katie Price apply for DLA for Harvey or do any of them get the childcare element of CTC...
You could argue that none of them need this money but they are entitled to it? Who knows if they actually apply for it. I've got friends on a modest income who didn't apply for CTC or DLA for their son. The DLA I've told them is not about whether they can cover his costs but to ensure that he does get the best treatment & care he can get.
The list goes on and on and on and on
BTW - the Euro jackpot is E90 million tomorrow if anyone's got a quid to spare. I sorted out my coppers....:beer:BSC 289A life lived in fear is a life not living!Proud to have dealt with my debts.0 -
anyone paying tax - i.e. earning more than the derisory personal allowances - is, in effect, possibly, paying £20 to the rooneys
that must make some folk really happy - not0 -

if the DSS can pay it to every CHB claimant from poland/bulgaria/etc, with minimal proof the child exists, what makes you think the beckhams stop getting it whilst out of the UK?
the UK is paying millions to CHB claimants from the EU countries, why? cos its EU law...
no wonder they cling under trucks to get here
farce - you couldnt make it up, schools and hospitals cry out for cash, we give it away0
