My partner opened an account and used the £25 credit but also paid extra money for a pair of earings, recieved an email to ask if the details are correct. Are you allowed 2 accounts at same adress? As Im waiting on my glamour voucher coming through and I was going to use that against a necklace I seen. If not allowed 2 at same adress I will just get it sent to my mums!

I agree with you old Bag - but lokoing at it from another point of view, do you not think the business has some responsibility here? towards their staff?

Let's say I left my front door unlocked.
If I got burgled I'd be very annoyed with the burglars, but I'd also have to accept some responsibility myself wouldn't I??
They are a business and should be professional when they make an offer.
They should have IT in place to restrict codes etc. not let anyone have any combination.

I do agree with your point, but I also think that the business themsleves has a duty of due dilligence when they do a promotion.

    sure of course
but we post them on here and people are gonna use them

I think some people will use them and get quite greedy with it and then it will abuse.

I saw the deal with Glamour and when I saw that others had posted the codes under Grabbit's realised that the Glamour deal may/or may not get honoured.

I agree with old bag in that while I am up for a bargain I would rather not do it at the expense of staff jobs etc... that doesn't sit well with me :(

But of course equally there are others that won't give a rats!

:rotfl:I'm not sure I'd be that strong but there is an element of dishonesty in it all!

I was going to sign up for this offer when I saw it in the magazine. I left the insert on the kitchen worktop to remind me to do it the next day. Of course someone binned it and I forgot, lols!
Anyway just ordered it now. Really hope I get it as I bought my sister a hot diamonds charm necklace with a stiletto heels charm for her 21st last year and her work colleauges bought her a charm bracelet with a 21 charm so would be nice to get her another charm and the mag for her Christmas. Especially as I am broke just now.

    Good luck all :)
And I think that signing up for multiple accounts is ridiculous (okay one or two maybe) but this is the grabbit board, not for talking about the ethics I guess.

I think this is just like the boots teething gel 200 points post that was up a month or so ago. For a £1 spend you got 200 points and there was people ordering 10 or so just to get the points when they didnt even need it or have any kids! Its ridiculous at times!!!

No, never said that at all.
Why do you call it a glitch? There were serveral codes that could be combined.
That's not a glitch, that's total incomptetance on the part of the organisation.

In my view, professionals have a higher degree of responsibility than ordinary lay people.
If you employ a plum, ber you expect him/her to know more about pumbing than you.
Similarly companies that do offers when they are professional comapnies need to accept more responsibility than users just buying something.

So in my view the company should accept more responsibility at the very least.

If people lose their jobs they should blame their incompetant employer and not people who bought, some of whom may well have genuinely seen codes in magazines and may not have been aware that they could not have been combined.
