Just found a Hot Diamonds necklace on sale on the Debenhams website. £39.37-Silver driftwood necklace.

With the voucher code available in the discounts code forum, it's much cheaper than using £25 store credit on HD site. HTH someone...

How did you get the codes to work on the Debenhams website?
There's a Debenhams code thread with lots of different codes here

Enter the code at checkout. Might try it tomorrow as they're supposed to be having 20% off a spend of £50+, so if you bought that necklace and had other shopping to do there, it might be a very good buy...Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

I used the voucher codes to get a charm at small spend for my sister. They're very pretty, but in no way worth the prices charged. My wedding ring is a Hot Diamonds and I got it in Chapelle for £8, a lot less than it was RRP'd - presumably Chapelle are also making money on that - just goes to show what markup there must be on them!!"All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.
I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.0 -
my charm has been dispatched this morning0

also, the mark up on jewellery is huge, Goldsmiths are on the tesco rewards and you are getting £40 in Goldsmith vouchers for £10 in tesco vouchers and they still must be making money on that...
They are a business. So what if the mark up on jewellery is huge? It's a business, they have to make profit. If you don't like the price or can't afford it, leave it alone! My boyfriend is a jeweller and knows all this, but that doesn't give you the right to fiddle things around. I hope all the 'free' orders are cancelled as it ruins it for people who are willing to part with actual money for the goods!0 -

If you buy something using forged notes or in the old days ( showing my age:rolleyes:) by a cheque which later bounces, then you still owe the full amount.
I hope I am wrong, but equally I do not wish to cause financial hardship to any business if peeps have been jumping on the bandwagon to make a financial killing at Hot Diamonds expense.
I agree, with your last post, but there is a BIG difference between cutting into someones profit margin, and getting hundreds of pounds worth of goods FREE.
Especially if thousands of peeps are doing it!
they cannot charge you more once you have received your goods!!
they have the chance to cancel your order before dispatch if they will not honour the discount. Why are you trying to make people panick? :rolleyes:0 -
I have just logged on and the only code now working for free credit is the £10 one. Is anyone else finding this?Looking forward to Christmas 2009!!:santa2::snow_laug:santa2:0

Wooooooo, easy tiger!!!!
was simply expressing my view, don't have a go luv your just making yourself look silly!!!!!!
and they arn't free orders, they are discounted orders and if the the company in question don't want to honour them then they will simply cancel the orders.
No need to get quite so hysterical :rolleyes:0 -
