Hi I am at the end of my 12 month contract for Broadband with BT at the end of June and after looking through all the threads I am even more confused than ever of who to choose if I deceide to swap!! Virgin's package looks similar to BT but with more download allowance.Has anybody any experience of Virgin, good or bad? Or a better suggestion.

Don't know why you may want to move but you can do what I did with BT.
Ring and ask for a MAC number towards the end of your contract, (the MAC only lasts 30 days) and they will ask you why you want to leave. Tell them the download limit is too low and the cost is too high compared with other ISPs and they will either up your limit or reduce the cost (by £5 in my case) or maybe both and you can register for the "up to 8Megs" at the same time at no extra charge..
If you are otherwise happy with BT, as I am, then it's a case of better the devil you know.
I'd better add that it will tie you to another 12 months.

Thanks or that. I never thought of that one, that would be an ideal solution for me as I don't actually have a problem, just want more download as I have to restrict what my boys use it for at moment. Thanks again I will give it a go.:T
