Orange contract help please!!!

Hi all,

Is there any way in which I can get out of my Orange contract?

Basically I was on something like 300 free minutes to Orange and landlines and 500 free texts to any network each month. My phone bill arrived yesterday and I discovered that I am being charged for text messages, the "offer" had expired.

I was not aware when I agreed to this tarrif that the offer would expire, so what can I do?

any help gratefully accepted folks.

How long have you been on this tariff? Sometimes the promotional extras don't last beyond the minimum term of the contract.

If you've completed the minimum term you can leave without any extra charges.

You can change the contract you're on IIRC

have you tried to see if you can switch to pay as you go as that will effectively allow you to end the contract without paying the line rental?

if the contract doesnt run out until oct they wont let you change to a paug until then, they wont let you get away with not paying that line rental - why should they loose money when they dont have to
