2 contracts...

is it possible to have 2 contracts at the same time that are independant? the reason i ask is that i have been refused a contract with orange for poor credit rating and my OH has offered to do it in her name. is this possible? she is with orange already and has a perfect credit score.

i have had a pac code from o2 and will now have to leave them, tho i hate them to bits i kinda wish i'd seen the refusal of a contract from a different company coming so i could stay with them.

i have set up utilities inc electric etc bt and secured a flat for rent and they were all fine. orange however, were not.

thanks.

If you dont use your PAC your contract with O2 will continue. Contract only ends once you have used the pac code.

2 contracts are fine, 3 or more and flags start to go up.

oh i see, i wrote to the manager and she gave me the PAC code and feel i should leave for the grief they caused.

it's ok, my OH has said it's fine to do a contract on hers. i'll be able to get one a few years down the line i'm sure.

It should be no problem, but if she was on this forum asking if she should let you we would say no. It is a warning for her, not yourself. The reason is that whoever signs for it/whos name it is in, is the one liable for it. If she signs for the contract but you don't pay her to pay them, they can't chase you only her.

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies

ah i see. i was thinking about it last night and think the best thing to do is call o2 and get a sim only deal with them for about £15 a month then get a cheapy phone for a while. thats the money saving way!!

i'd feel terrible if i did anything to affect her account or credit rating. i think i was getting a bit suckered into the shiny iphone ways... though i hear they are the best at fixing the thing, thats what i look for these days! the old knackered phone i'm using at the moment is still going strong. don't build em' like they used to!

    thanks for the heads up.
