Recently got a contract with three, paid £100 deposit today and awaiting phone. Anyone have experience in this? The deposit side of things I mean, apparently its refunded after six months.

I had to pay a deposit of £150 when I first took my contract out 4 years ago. No problems getting it back BUT I was told it would be returned after 6 months and it was actually after 12 months. This didn't bother me, but be aware that they'll probably say the same to you.0

It does tend to be 12 months not 6...0

My daughter recently took a new contract out with O2. She had spent 4 years at Uni moving around, and after getting her first job had been in a flat for just less than a year before moving into a new build flat. Obviously, there was no paper trail so they asked for £100 deposit which they said would be refunded after 3 months. To their credit, when she rang them this week they have offered to either refund straight away or leave as a credit on the bill which will take 3 months to use up.0
