Moisturiser for men: a 'manly' one that works... (!)

My OH has quite dry skin on his face, so I said he should use a moisturiser. Usual male response ('urrgh - that's for girls' etc.), but he has agreed to use one if I can find him a make that he likes and that is not too "poncey" (his words).
Any blokes on here admit to using a 'manly face cream' and can recommend one? Or any 'girls' who buy them for thir OH? I don't want to buy one and then find it's too greasy/smelly (in a non-manly way)/doesn't work.
I don't know where to start looking or what might be a good make to try, so all suggestions welcome!

Molton Brown's range for men is good I'm told. Perhaps he could use one of the shaving products and a moisturiser as his usual shaving foam etc could be making his skin dry.

Mmm - trouble is, these are quite pricey if he doesn't like it (the moisturisers seem to be about £25.00, which would be a lot to pay if he only uses it once!)
Which raises another question: do men's products ever have samples to try? That would be very useful - eitehr free or cheap samples would be a painless way of finding a product he might actually use.
???

Send an email to Molton Brown asking them for samples. A friend of mine did it.

I got some samples from Molton Brown just by asking. Explain your dilemma and hopefully they will send you some manly samples to test.0

My boyf uses the boots no7 mens range. he uses the tinted moisturiser and loves it, it comes in quite manly packaging and is usually on 3 for 2 (or a fiver off when they do those £5 off no7 till receipts!) seems to last him quite a while despite using it every day!0

Very useful tip, thank you - an email has just been sent.

In case he doesn't like these, anyone else have other suggestions for products for men?

That's a good one to try - I can get advantage points too!!
Will try this also.

clinique has a mens range which IMHO and that of every man I know who has tried it is the best.0

My boyfriend uses the Clinique men's range and thoroughly approves of it.
He has also used the Body Shop one which is apparently OK as a slightly cheaper alternative."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0
