Hi,
The analogue signal for BBC2 was switched off in the Granada TV area today. Try and retune again - sometimes the box misses a few channels in the retuning process. The BBC channels on freeview should still be present.Profit=sanity

thanks, i will try retuning the freeview box again, i can get cbeebies just not BBC1, or 2 or Cbbc. which is odd,0 -
Sounds like you've lost multiplex 1 which carries BBC1, 2 CBBC and also the BBC News channel. Cbeebies is on a different multiplex.
Before you retune for channels, switch the box off at the power supply and leave it for about ten minutes- sometimes the memory will hold onto a glitch like this even through a retune.Don't suffer alone - if you are experiencing Domestic Abuse contact the National Domestic Abuse Helplines

I received a call from my father-in-law this evening asking for help as he had retuned his Humax 9200T Freeview receiver and had lost all the BBC channels. I also have a Humax 9200T and so re-tuned mine to find I had exactly the same problem !
I finally found the BBC channels, but they are now on channels 800, 801, 802 and further which is definitely not right.
I also have two Freeview TV's in the house and I have re-tuned both of these today and have BBC on both of them.
Does anyone please have any idea how I can return the BBC channels back to their original places ?
Thank You0 -
Hi,
I have a Panasonic TV with built in freeview and I retuned when we were told to do it last month.
Today I found that none of the BBC channels were working, so I retuned again. Then I spent an hour and a half moving (one at a time - it's laborious) our favourite channels to the top of the on-screen TV guide, only to discover that BBC 2, 3 and the BBC News channels were missing!
About an hour ago the TV screen informed me that there was a new channel, so I pressed "OK" to accept it. It was all the BBC channels that had been missing. Now they are at the bottom of the TV guide list and are not tuned in.
So, presumably I'll have to re-tune AGAIN and take the time to re-place all of my favourites AGAIN! If this is what the TV digital change is like, then what will happen when they steal our radio analogue signals (and leave us with much less choice) and render our analogue radios, (including car ones) clock radios and video recorders useless!
I'm really annoyed with all of this! Rant over! :rotfl:0 -
I retuned mine and have BBC but its BBC Wales! Will try turning it off at the wall - thanks for the tip!......0

To those wit Humax Freeview recorder (not sure which model is mine): I found that if I do Menu->Installation->Default setting, then it finds all the channels. I had to retune mine today, and BBC channels where 80x, but after doing this, they are all in right places.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
