Pocket Money - How Much

We give DD15 £20 per month but I no longer buy her phone top ups. She gets necessary bus fares, school clothes and shoes plus occasional mufti bought for her. Unnecessary bus fares, friends presents, cinema etc are now hers to pay. We do it by direct debit as this saves the need to find correct change, remember to give it to her etc.

DD11 gets £2.50 also into her bank, she doesn't have a phone yet but she needs to pay swimming trips etc from this though I'm still buying friends bday presents.

DD's8 get nothing from us as yet though grandparents give each of the girls £1 or 2 a week.

I couldn't justify giving anymore to any of them as we just don't have the money.

We give dd (11) £3-50 per week, she gets £10 in her bank each month but never uses this but can if she wants to buy something big. I also clean and they give her £3 each week too for helping! so she gets in cash £6-50 but hoards it away!!
