CSA could cost me my career

I have read alot of stories that other people have on here in regards to the CSA however i feel that i am being victimised by the system.... i was recently re evaluted under the old sytem and have had my monthly deduction increased from 312GPB a mth to 650GBP . This is for one child who i am not allowed access too nor an address for .
I am in the armed forces and the reason the CSA gave me for this re calculation being so high is because i have a largely disposable income (in their words) , however what they dont realise is now i cant live on what i have left and i am stuck in a rut both personally and professionally i love my job but i am being forced into leaving by the csa being so greedy .
Surely they dont want me to leave my job join the dole que and leave my monthly payments to the already burdened taxpayer .
When i questioned this amount they bypassed me and just took the money direct from my wages , am i expected to serve my country in places like afghanistan , iraq for 850 GBP a month ?

Please believe me, they do not care. All they are interested in is meeting their targets. If you get a job out of the army your payments should decrease. Go self employed if you can.
If you want to see your child, you could apply through the courts. It is straightforward and you can do it yourself without using a solicitor. It does work.0 -
Does that amount include arrears?0

£650 a month for one child  *SIGH*

That is outrageous!!
Your ex is made up of pure greed, £650 per month for 1 child??? Of course you would have a large disposable income you are in the army!!!
If it was me I would leave my job pure and simple and let the greedy madam get her £5 per week!! And that is not something I would normally ever advocate. You really do have my sympathy she sounds worse than ours:rolleyes::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Surely this is not her fault though? The CSA calculate how much is payable....0

£650 per month does sound an awful lot but we have no infomation as to whether the OP has any arrears, and since the CSA aren't allowed to contact anyone on active duty then he has probably come home to it all.
Didn't realise the army was so easy to get out of these days either *SIGH*

OP have you checked on the online csa calculator by imputting your income and seeing if the amount is correct if you dont owe any arrears?0

Sorry didnt realise they were on the old system, scrap my idea!!
OP you really should call the csa up and ask for a breakdown of what you are paying for! I do think that the amount you are paying does include arrears. They usually want arrears paid off quickly so they probably wacked a big chunk of it on every month0 -
