wouldn't stop me.. print screen, paste into paint, cut the pictures / logo's out, open a new paint screen, paste into there and save.

To stop people stealing your pics and logo's you'd need to watermark them with your Ebay ID so they can't use them.

Pictures and logo's are watermarked with my eBay ID/eBay shop name as well. There is no chance of anyone stealing my pictures.

could do the same with auctions. Create them as a jpg and just link that into the auction with watermarks etc.

Of course it isn't full proof. However, it will make it a little more time consuming for the person trying to steal the web page information, this will probably put them off, as it was lazyness in the first place that made them try and copy the auction..

I guess it's just about making it much more difficult for them.

I would send them a snotty email and tell them that I am going to email everyone who bids on their item and tell them the score and also report to ebay if they do not end the auction immediatly. But if your auction has ended and you have no more to sell I would feel quite flattered that someone had used my listing but I'd still send a snotty email as I have been asked and allowed people to copy pictures etc if it does not affect me if they ask me first.

you dont have to right click to copy the source code. So its pretty pointless if someone is really determined to get your codes.

However i do agree that you should report it, i have encountered this problem, 3 -4 ppl copied my auction, word for word, along with pictures, I reported them and had them pulled, takes around 2 days, and it is a wonderful feeling when it happens. :rotfl:

I have PaintShop Pro and you can watermark images with that.
