Someone has hijacked my advert.....help please

HI

I spent ages putting together an advert to sell my goods. Now i notice that someone has copied it and are using my advert :mad: :mad:

To say im upset is an inderstatement.

Is there anyway in which i can protect my advert and stop someone doing a cut and paste job on it?

Please can someone advise i am at the end of my tether.

I think i need a good nights slep to calm down!

Report them to eBay.

You can report them to ebay. They take this pretty seriously.

Do you mean copying your auction?

Could you not add the code for 'no right click' then that way no one could just copy and paste.

What code?? I know this can be done but i thought it was only on your own website.

Is it javascript? I think so. I added it to my auctions, so no-one could steal anything.

How do you do this, cos this is exactly what i need.

i have emailed Ebay, but it could be a few days before it is stopped, if at all!

O.k report it like this:
Bottom of page Safety centre > Report a problem > Highlight Listing Policy Breaches > Step 1 copy of your listings > Step 2 Your discription copied > Continue > Email Us then fill in details.

you don't need to right click to copy and paste you just highlight and press ctrl & c
