gps are not paid as such they are indenpendant contractors who are in buisness in their own right, so the more patients they have and more stuff they do the more they can claim from the goverment so they earn such good saleries as they invest in their practices etc and expand their buisnessesDizzie wrote:I know it's off topic but I have to agree, I have been lucky to have had a couple of fantastic gps who did a great job but I've also come across some terrible ones who think every thing is a virus and would clearly rather be on the golf course!0 -

Hi
is anyone waiting for john lewis vouchers? My OH ordered some and they are taking a while to come. We've always had boots vouchers quite quickly.
Thanks

Any experience of currymad vouchers out there. i just tried to use mine at a particpating restaurant/take-away from the website and was by the restaurant told they are only valid for the restaurant and I can only use one per visit. Had I known this I wouldn't have bothered to order the currymad vouchers I would have chosen something else so anyone else considering the vouchers its worth not only checking the website if there is a particpating curryhouse near you but on what basis they accept them. £20 of vouchers did not mean a free curry for me!!!0

I always order John Lewis vouchers and they've always come in less than a week. OH and I have both ordered and received them in the last two weeks. If you've been waiting longer than this I'd e-mail them.;)You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
Only been on pigsback just over a month and just ordered a £10 arcadia voucher and already had one free CD. This is so great, haven't spent a penny. Cheers once again everyone for all those hidden points

I can't log out either but I went into my history for the last week & found the log in page there & that worked for me - hope that makes sense. I never thought of deleting the cookies in Tempory Internet Files, will get DH to have a look at that later.2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please0

I suggest letting your disappointing experience be a greater lesson to everyone here on this. Personally I wouldn't touch non "mainstream" vouchers such as this Currymad one (no offence to them and their efforts though) with an extra large peshwari nan bread.
I always stick to the recognised high street brand names - less room for error or doubt, and more flexibility.0
