I'd rather not delete all my temporary files, as I can't remember my passwords for all the other sites !!!
Both hubby and me have accounts, with one computer, and haven't had this problem before.
You don't need to delete ALL cookies - you should just be able to remove the cookie specific to Pigsback - what browser are you using?0 -
Oh I can remember my sign in name. I'm on IE.Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I joined about 2 weeks ago.'Sir, your drunk' 'Yes, Madam, I am drunk, but in the morning I shall be sober and you will still be ugly.' Winston Churchhill0 -
I use Mozilla Firefox. All cookies, history and temp files are deleted on exit (although you can change this if you like) but also there is a secure password remembering plugin which will remember passwords as long as you can remember your user ID.
I've never had any problem with multiple accounts on our PC.
The only problem I do have is my WOWwoman points and CDWOW points not being credited. Either way, I'm still happy as I have just ordered my second £50 CDWOW voucher this year.
Thanks to everyone on the site aswell as the friendly people at Pigsback.:happylove "SEE THE RAINBOW NOT THE RAIN.":happylove0 -

So how many people who have more than one account in their household are having the same problem? I presume its PB's fault? Or is it?
I'm the only user in my house and I always use firefox. If I follow links from on here it always asks me to sign in first (I think this started around last week), whereas if I open up PB in a different window and then find the pages myself I don't get asked to sign in.
I don't think it's just multiple account households having this problem! Oh and I use FFIn a Den first, Theo Paphitis has been getting business information from a talking tree.0 -

Ill try and explian as much as i can with this.
Firstly, this is what Pigsback store about you. I have no idea what some of these mean, as they dont want to make it too obvious.
Cookie:
Accounts
AlteonP
ASPSESSIONIDSQSAQQSQ
MemberID
PBAC
Cookie2:
$Version=1
They actually store two cookies, i dont know what the second one is either. All the info from cookie one relates to your account, but might also help with the tracking process.
Try these steps first:
Logout:
http://pigsback.com/members/memClearCookieAndRestart.asp
B]Note, this should log you out of PB[/B
Login:
http://pigsback.com/members/memLogin.asp
If the above 2 steps doesn't work, then follow below:
Now, to delete just the pigsback cookie follow the following, below is for IE
Tools ->
Internet option ->
General Tab -> Temporary Internet Files group -> Settings ->
View Files ->
An internet explorer window will open (this may take a while to load)...
Click search ->
"What do you want to search for?" -> All files and folders ->
"All or part of the file name:" -> Cookie @ pigsback
You should now see either one or two search results, maybe more if you login at .co.uk etc, in the form of:
Cookie:Username@pigsback.com
Cookie:Username@www.pigsback.com
Where username is your Windows login username. For instance, when i searched i got:
Cookie:matthew@pigsback.com
Cookie:matthew@www.pigsback.com
Now, select both of these cookies, then right click and select delete. Now, close that window and reopen internet explorer, you should now be logged out of Pigsback.
Oh, and btw its Pigsback's fault that it isn't removing the cookies, if they were set, they should be able to be removed, providing your security settings are set to be able to remove the cookie.
And for anybody using Opera, this is a lot easier to do:
Tools ->
Advanced ->
Cookies ->
Type "pigsback" in the search box, then remove all the pigsback cookies.
I dont actually have a problem with Opera, but i sometimes do with IE.
I hope this helps someone, taken me a while to write this0
