Hi everyone,
I've been reading this thread for ages now but never registered before because some of the attitudes on here really put me off posting. (I'm a sensitive soul - lol)
Yesterday I saw a thread "please vote with me for courtesy and no sniping" by Thomasbentley and it showed me that there IS hope!
So can I please say a (very!) belated and big "Thanks" to everyone who posts the answers and links on here, especially misskool and Jules-2005. I really appreciate your help.

Not having any problems other than following the links and finding out someone else is still logged in and the points have gone on their account not mine.Barclaycard 3800

I had the same problem with not being able to log out before my hubby used his account.
I found that if you clear the tempory internet files this solved the problem for me.
Please note! If you clear these files, you will need to log in again to any websites if you are registered with them. (including Pigsback!).
On IE click the 'Tools' menu at the top of the screen, then select 'Internet options...' from the menu. Under 'Tempory Internet Files' click to 'Delete cookies' then click to 'Delete files'. (Tick the box to 'delete offline content')
Sorry, not familiar with other browsers, but I hope that helps some people.

We have never had a problem with logging in or out of the accounts.
We have 4 computers in the house and 5 accounts using them. It makes no difference which computer either of us use. We do all make sure that when we have finished on PB we hit the log out button on the top right of the page and then closedown the sign on page.
Even if we all use the same computer if we are pushed for time no problems.
When we first log on we minimize the PB page then click on the links in MSE which opens a new window then always close that window. After we have checked all the links we refresh the original window that we first opened then sign off.
Hope this helps.
I did have to clear my cookies on Wednesday because I could not get onto MSE but the Techies at MSE stated:
"Unfortunately this is a consequence of the way aol works and an upgrade of software on our server. Aol tries to store as much information in a central location without asking our servers for content (this is called a cache). Yesterday our site outputted information which aol cached and shouldn't have done. It is a matter of time before aol reloads the content - hopefully within the next day"

Is there not any other way to log out of Pigsback?
I'd rather not delete all my temporary files, as I can't remember my passwords for all the other sites !!!
Both hubby and me have accounts, with one computer, and haven't had this problem before. Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I've had both Arcadia and John Lewis vouchers. Neither have date restrictions on them and are exactly the same as if you'd bought them from the shop themselves.0

Deleting your cookies wont affect sites remembering your passwords.
When you put in your sign -in name, the password should still fill in if you ticked the remember password boxes. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
