Just FYI
The EUCD, or Copyright and Related Rights Regulations 2003, amends the Copyright Designs and Patents Act of 1988 and is the EU's attempt to update copyright protection to the digital age and combat software piracy.
Individuals who make a copy of a copyrighted DVD, CD or music file, whether for back-up or for use on another device such as an MP3 player, are committing a crime.
Even if this is for personal use they theoretically face up to two years in jail or an unlimited fine, and possible civil action from copyright holders.

Just a general warning...It was like that when I got here...0 -
Thanks for clarifying that!
Unlike alot of countries I think that the UK does not have a "fair use" policy.
I think that even ripping a cd to mp3 or making your own compilation cd is technically against the law even if you own the original media!!0 -
Thanks for all your help. I have used dvd decrypter first and then dvd shrink as well. This is the firstt ime, it's happening, son is a bit upset and after watching the film for nearly 2 hrs, he missed the end. He did say, it skipped some bits, and I wonder why he did not ask me for another blank disc. Next time I will try a dvd+rw which can extend the hours and see how t goes. Thanks again0

If its a "real" Movie it will be copyright software protected.
A lot of 'real' movies don't use CSS: it costs a fair amount of money to put on a disk and is trivial to break, so unless you're Hollywood producing millions of copies of the same disk it's really just an expensive waste of time.0
