I ve been doing this, but they dont always stick to the date-Ive been holding off for the guitar hero bundle(wii),price was valid until 3rd Nov,therefore i was expecting a price reduction today, but its still full price and now the date has changed to 11th Nov-dunno wether or not to hold off again or use my Tesco clubcard vouchers to get £30 off there.

It's £149.99 at ShopTo - don't know if that helps?

Massive thanks to Queenlizard. I have just read this thread from beginning to end, and you have helped so many people (including me!) :D

I have reserved a coffee maker (wanted one for ages and now £9.99 from £25) in one store, and a slow cooker (half price) in another.

If my high street vouchers arrive before the offers end, I will also be getting my DD's main pressie (a 19" tv) from Argos as well.

Huge thanks again, it really is appreciated. :T
    Aims for 2014
Drink a glass of water a day, Empty handbag at least once a week, Continue "not putting things off" and tackle things head on, Treasure people around me, Stay healthy and well away from hospitals, Continue to declutter/decorate house slowly and not get stressed because I can't do everything at once. :D

I reserved a breadmaker and seems to get good reviews but not sure if they have done a special price mark up as Cookworks is Argos own brand is it?

.im gonna try the james martin one with £29 off(im hoping its a 2 paddle model, these make longer rather than taller loaves) http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?pp=20&s=Price%3A+Low+-+High&storeId=10001&catalogId=1500001801&langId=-1&q=BREADMAKER

Yes, it's a two paddle jobbie. I'm a bit miffed now because the OH paid full price for this model last week! We're actaully thinking of taking it back because it doesn't make a decent crust, however long you extend the baking time.
    Dry January: 31/31 days. :T

I cant believe argos have done that. I apologise. I feel bad, and I only work for them. I hate the way shops fool the public like this.
I hope you get to return your item, and I hope someone gets a bargain from the changes
Lol ,sorry wasnt getting at you :D
Unless its you that decides the pricing ....hmmmmmmmm ?!?!?!?!:D

Thanks bunny82,TBH.I havent taken it out of the box yet and im already not impressed, for something originaly priced at over £80 the "manual" is shocking, there isnt even anything to tell you how long a programme runs, and ive just discovered that it doesnt do cakes!,altho it has a "sweet bread"setting, and a "bake"setting apparantly neither are for cakes. There is no list of specifications,i have no idea what wattage it is etc...or am i possibly missing a leaflet??With the lack of info in the box this is a possibility.
Anyway looks like il be testing Argos no quibble 30 day return policy.Ive reserved the small cookworks one at only £23 il be happy to use it just for kneading and proving(altho its had terrific reviews so may be good)
