I bought a carpet fitter and hubby re-fitted all the carpets ,so hence its now superfluous to requirements ,gunna take it back today and say its rubbish and i wants me money back:p

I cant believe argos have done that. I apologise. I feel bad, and I only work for them. I hate the way shops fool the public like this.
I hope you get to return your item, and I hope someone gets a bargain from the changes

The link has already been put for you but when using Quidco or other cashback sites make sure you clear cookies every time otherwise tracking might not happen and then you dont get paid. Also bear in mind its not guaranteed cashback, but most things do track and you do get paid.

I reserved a breadmaker and seems to get good reviews but not sure if they have done a special price mark up as Cookworks is Argos own brand is it?

Is it the signature one with black bits or the new one? I have the one with black bits, bought it about 4 months ago and it was £47.89 then. :)

  • Always, always check down the description to the bottom where it will tell you the date the price will end at, as in the breadmaker link about the price will be valid until 10/11/09.

I ve been doing this, but they dont always stick to the date-Ive been holding off for the guitar hero bundle(wii),price was valid until 3rd Nov,therefore i was expecting a price reduction today, but its still full price and now the date has changed to 11th Nov-dunno wether or not to hold off again or use my Tesco clubcard vouchers to get £30 off there.
On a good notr though i had been undecided about the mini laptop at £199(£70 OFF)price was valid until 3rd Nov,but today thats been extended and the price is now valid until 11th Nov,so i have another week to investigate.
